The Veatch Cosmos II manual lensmeter is an external reading lensmeter with a prism compensator. The popular american style target provides easy and accurate readings of any lens from 30-90 mm in diameter. The axis scale and power wheel are magnified for easy reading.
Characteristics :
-
The ocular one is provided with a unit of approach which range of
approach is of + 5D to be adapted to the different visions of the
different operators.
-
The retcle is divided with the scale of measurement and the dividing
disc of the degree of the prism.
-
The entire degree of the prism is read directly of the scale of
measurement and of the decimal scale estimated according to the
degree on the scale of measurement.
-
When prism diopter is great than 5^ , use of prism compensator is
necessary. There are 2 scale line on the prism compensator: the
upper line denotes angle, with the range of 0º - 180º, minimum
scale value of 5º; the lower line is the prism diopter with a range
of 15^ - 0 - 15^
